Privacy Policy
Effective October 13, 2026
Dough Nuts is a sourdough formula calculator for iPhone, iPad, and Apple silicon Macs. It does not collect, store, or share any personal information. This policy explains what the app keeps on your device and what happens when you choose to send something out of it.
What we collect
Nothing. Dough Nuts has no accounts, no sign-in, no advertising, no analytics, and no tracking. The app does not connect to the Internet, and we do not receive any information about you or how you use the app.
What stays on your device
To remember your work between uses, the app saves the following on your device only:
- Your current formula and selected flavor
- Your settings, such as appearance and mixer limit
- Custom flavors you create, and which included flavors you have hidden
This information is included in your device backups (iCloud or your computer) according to your own backup settings. Deleting the app deletes it.
When you share, print, or export
Share, Print, and Export flavors only run when you choose them. The formula or flavors file goes to the app, printer, or location you pick, and is then handled by that service under its own privacy policy. Dough Nuts does not keep a copy or send it anywhere else.
When you email us
If you tap the contact link in the app, your email app opens a message to us. If you send it, we receive your email address and message, use them only to reply, and do not share them.
Crash reports and beta feedback
If you have chosen in your device settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may send us anonymous crash reports. If you test the app through TestFlight, Apple sends us any feedback and screenshots you choose to submit. Apple handles this information under the Apple Privacy Policy.
Children
Dough Nuts does not collect information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
